Karen Molson

Executive Director & CHQ liaison

Karen has been a long-time volunteer board member at Greenwood and, for several seasons, associate director, before becoming executive director in 2025. A writer, archivist and historian, Karen has worked on projects sponsored by the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network and The Canadian Heritage of Quebec. Another of her interests is doing ancestry research for clients.

James Robertson

President, and Archives & Conservation Committee

A retired lawyer, James is a 3rd-great-grandson of P.F.C. Delesderniers and his wife Amelia Rice, who purchased Greenwood in 1820. He is also a 2nd great-grandson of Robert Ward Shepherd who married their daughter Mary Cecilia Delesderniers, who later inherited and lived in the house. One of their daughters, Roberta (May) Shepherd, was his great-grandmother and owned Greenwood briefly. James brings his professional experience to our board of directors, as a member of our executive committee. His passionate interest in family history and Como history is an asset that we all value and appreciate.

Doug McCollum

Treasurer

Doug McCollum is Greenwood’s Treasurer and member of the executive committee. During his career Doug has had extensive experience in finance and accounting. He was a CPA for over 40 years and has an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has always been a history enthusiast, and owns a home built in the 1850s, just down the road from Greenwood.

Alice Lenko

Secretary

Former high school administrator Alice Lenko is known for her wide knowledge of Quebec history, her adept organizational skills, and her superb baking talents. On our board she is also appreciated for her record-keeping as secretary and for her contribution to the executive committee. She is often the first one to volunteer for a wide range of Greenwood’s needs, including helping with the vintage garage and creating beautiful stained glass windows to auction for Greenwood at our Old-Fashioned Christmas.

Kathryn Lamb

Archives & Conservation Committee

Artist, writer, teacher and craftsperson Kathryn Lamb has lived in Hudson for 35 years. She has been involved with Greenwood as a board member and volunteer since the home’s inception in 1994 as a museum of living history. Her work has been exhibited across eastern Canada and has also been featured in local and national publications. Kathryn has taught courses and workshops locally, in the west island, and at the Visual Arts Centre in Westmount. She envisions Greenwood as a centre for learning about our community and its history, and for meeting and sharing art, music and traditions with visitors of every age and background.

Frank Hicks

Vintage Garage

After a very successful career in business, Frank Hicks had intended to retire to a quiet life in Hudson, Quebec. Instead, the long-time antique dealer began devoting his time and expertise in marketing, customer service, administration and accounting, to many local not-for-profit organizations including Le Nichoir, NOVA (home nursing care), the library charity shop The Bunker, the Hudson Historical Society, the Hudson Merchants Committee, dog and cat rescue groups, and, of course, Greenwood.

Claire Gelinas

Claire is a retired nurse and is a descendent of Mary Cecilia Deslesderniers and R.W. Shepherd. One of their 10 children, Beatrice Hannah 1860-1944, was her great grandmother. She joined the Greenwood board of directors in the Spring of 2024. As a child, Claire once lived at Woodside cottage, two houses away from Greenwood. Phoebe Nobbs Mckeller Hyde hosted her wedding to John Meagher in 1994, four months before her death.

Deborah Woodhead

Past President

Deborah and her husband came to Hudson to raise their family in the [1970s]. She quickly embraced the spirit of the community, and began to volunteer at the local music club. Later on, her focus moved into politics, and she served as a Town Councillor from 2013 until 2017.

It was Music on the Lawn one sunny Sunday afternoon that piqued her interest and first brought Deborah to Greenwood. After volunteering at several events and working with the StoryFest Committee, she was hooked! She was asked to join the Greenwood Board of Directors in 2020. Since then, she has played a dynamic part in the evolution of our beautiful historic home as a museum.

Celine Pilon

Past President

A resident of Hudson for nearly 30 years, and deeply involved in the communities of Hudson and Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Céline has, among other things, worked as a reporter for the Hudson Gazette and The Journal before joining the team of Yvon Marcoux, Member of the National Assembly for Vaudreuil, and Peter Schiefke, Member of Parliament for Vaudreuil-Soulanges. As Vice-Chair and Chair of the Board of Directors, Céline has been a proud representative of Greenwood since 2017. Passionate about local history and keen to pay tribute to all those who have contributed to the development of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, she has made it her mission to raise Greenwood’s profile beyond our region.

Audrey Wall

Director Emerita

A former school administrator and teacher, Audrey has lived in the Hudson area for over fifty years. After her retirement she started working at Greenwood in 2008, serving as Executive Director for 7 years and Associate Director for 8 years. She has been very involved with StoryFest throughout this time. She now works at Greenwood as a very happy volunteer, as well as a Director Emerita.

Katie Miller

Katie is a museum and heritage professional with over a decade of experience spanning historical research and interpretation in museums, as well as advocacy and community engagement within the heritage non-profit sector. Her journey in heritage began as one of Greenwood’s summer interns, and her connection to Greenwood has remained strong ever since. Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from McGill University and a Master’s degree from University of Edinburgh. Alongside her passion for historic places and their ability to connect people with the past, Katie is committed to making Canada’s history more accessible and engaging for future generations through inclusive and representative approaches to interpreting Canada’s diverse cultural histories.
