Practices that foster Nervous System Regulation, Emotional Resilience and Wellness
Life has become increasingly complex, stressful and insecure in many ways. Many of us are suffering from anxiety, depression, chronic pain, poor sleep/insomnia and numerous other chronic health problems. Fundamentally all of these conditions, whether mental or physical, have in common an underlying cause: dysregulation of the nervous system.
More than ever we can lean heavily into the yoga and mindfulness practices to regulate our stressed nervous systems and develop both physical and emotional resilience and well-being. These workshops will allow you to explore various techniques that can be used towards this aim: gentle somatic movement, Â breathing practices, meditation, mindfulness, chanting, mudras, etc.
Dates and Times:Â
Saturdays from 10:00-11:15 am
June 14 ; Â July 5 ; Aug 9, Weather permitting
Cost: $25
Location: Outside on the Greenwood lawn (bring your own yoga mat; chairs will be available)
