Tours & Tea
Immerse yourself in nearly three centuries of fascinating history at the Greenwood Centre for Living History! Come along for a guided exploration of this beloved heritage home, where each room unveils a new chapter filled with stories, memories, and the lives of those who once resided here. From vintage furnishings to secret alcoves, each step will transport you through time.
And whether you’re taking part in a tour or not, feel free to drop by for a delightful pot of tea paired with our selection of homemade baked treats. Enjoy your refreshments on our quaint porch, which overlooks the picturesque Ottawa River and our historic gardens, a perfect place to unwind and appreciate the serene beauty of Greenwood. Whether you’re drawn in by the history, the enchanting ambiance, or simply a nice cup of tea, there’s a unique experience awaiting you.
No need for reservations from June through the end of August—just come on in and enjoy! However, if you are coming with a large group of six or more, please do make a reservation. For September and October, reservations are necessary as our staffing is limited, and our hours are not regular. From November to April, we pause our tours and tea service, closing entirely from January to April.
